![]() I am so proud to present the artwork of Sonya Else. I have been supplying Sonya with Powertex and curiosity got the better of me and we started chatting about what she was using the product for. She has graciously given permission to share her artwork and how she has been using Powertex. Sonya isn't actually a trainer with us yet ( I am working on it), but I just love her work and thought people would be interested to see how other artists use the product. Above is "Picture Perfect" equal first prize in the Peoples Choice Award at the Rochester Fine Art Show, 2014. Sonya says "The tree I also found the powertex very useful, I just love it!!! The mountain and rocks are made from painted Tyvek using the heat gun then free hand stitched, I have had so much fun creating these pieces". The Lotus Pond is made to be viewed from above so it will sit on the floor it is approximately 1.6mts x 1.mts, with the dragonflies suspended on wire and the Lotus are made from felted wool and stiffened with Powertex and water lily leaves are cotton fabric stiffened with Powertex. The Butterfies are all freehand machine stitched and stiffened with Powertex.
